Item Description
The Italian Garden Temple tapestry is woven at Lake Como, the centre for Italian weaving. It is set in the late 18th century and features gardens of the Villa d’Este at Cernobbio originally built in 1568 as a summer residence for a cardinal. These include Renaissance arches, a temple, ruins, statues and fountains. Like all our Lake Como tapestries it is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
